Our story
AFL Shipping LLC was founded in Dubai in 2016 with a clear purpose: to make freight forwarding personal again. In an industry dominated by large multinationals and automated systems, we built something different. A lean, expert team that clients can reach directly, without a ticket number.
We built deep expertise in Maldives Customs Service requirements, transshipment logistics, and the specific challenges of island delivery. But the most valuable thing we could offer was never a specific route. It was flexibility.
Today we coordinate shipments from factories and suppliers across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, routing them through whichever gateway gives our clients the best outcome. Dubai is our base. The network is global.
How we work
We operate out of a single Dubai office, but our reach extends through a network of trusted shipping agents across every major trade region. That is how global freight actually works: one expert hub, connected to vetted partners on the ground wherever cargo needs to move.

We handle CIF and FOB arrangements, which means we adapt to how your suppliers prefer to sell. Whether they hand over at factory gate or at destination port, we work around them.
